Wonderful sharp details and colours. The eye detail is superb !! If you watch during this process, the bubbles seem to change colour as they take it in and back out again. I have a feeling they do this to help regurgitation. Just my thought.

Does not surprise me one little bit. :) Watched this guy from the UK grow so much in macro over the years and I have a feeling it was the fly and bubble trick that really kicked him off. Those were some of the first shots I had seen from Brian at Dpr. Brian, you are nothing short of superb in macro ...

As I told before these are great stackings! these must be the best 3-d stacking photos of Ceratitis capitata ever! TO have an idea of the general body I put here a photo I took in 2007 (single shot with Sigma 105 mm lens + kenko extension tubes + speedlite 430 ex + diffuser). It seems I must do a r...

Nice hike and results. Love the colours of the lizard, beautiful and good ratio on the Aphid at the bottom. They are tiny. Very nice.

All the best.

Excellent as always Mark. Fine sharp details and good DOF. Nice selective focus, bang on.

I've just gone from the FZ10 (hey I'm stubborn) to a Canon 20SX IS with the Raynox DCR-250. Seems to be working well. The Pannies are great for macro, no doubt.

All the best Mark and happy macroing. :)

Yes I know exactly what you are saying Harold. I've been talking to a few here about the standard of work and images we see here in macro and micro. A few of us have hung out in the larger nature forums on the net and some of the work is top notch world wide. Here it is way beyond that IMO. Here we ...
