An excellent result, well worth the effort. I once spent far too much time trying to get a stack of photos of a gyrating Piptocephalis fungus, a frustrating experience!

Nicely done!

The second photo looks like a myxomycete sporocarp and the other photos do look like developing basidiocarps / mushrooms.

Larvae Circulatory System

This is a larvae I found in a small stream. Under cross polarisation with a wave plate inserted the circulatory system showed up very well.
