Just back from QMC AGM - followed by curry etc., of course! - Jackie was in fine form along with Nigel, Joan, Dennis and Paul. The top of the GF ocular comes level with the top of the Dialux/Brunel photo tube and the Tominon screws on immediately above - not a lot of clearance: http://www.photomacro...

If you know how to achieve darkground with a wheel or patch stop, then you know how to do COL: just use an undersize stop in the condenser filter holder. You may need to rack the condenser up or down bit from the normally optimum position to achieve satisfactory results.

The stereo images were generated by Zerene with a 3% shift. I had to edit one image of the pair for halo artefacts
