I decided to take the picture and use Auto color balance (Paint Shop Pro) on it and it did have an impact on the colors. The colors do seem to be off and this third pic does look more natural. The colors are correct (it is kinda mono colored) and I did use a top mounted 430Ex with two layers of tissue for diffusion (just folded around the head).
