Infinity objective
On this thread I show a stacked image taken with a L Plan 20/0.4 infinity objective. The L Plan 20/0.4 has RMS thread (when I bought it I was thinking it was a Nikon L Plan CFI60 serie with M25 thread and 60mm parfocal) and 45 mm parfocal with a WD of about 10mm. Few weeks ago I bought a old Vivitar...

Rik, I like this setup it allows to get objective magnification X 1 and fill the frame (Canon 450D, my Nikon 4X/0.13 DL is the only one that does not fill the frame using transmited light (I have to test with reflected light)), I used the Nikon trinocular head + Nikon 1X TV relay lens and the frame ...

Testing of a unbranded L Plan 20/0.4 00/0
I was testing a new unbranded L Plan 20/0.4 infinity/0 objective. I bought this objective new for $40 on eBay (thinking that it was a Nikon L Plan series objective; but this objectives has a RMS thread and is parfocal at 45mm), it has a WD of about 10mm. I mounted it on my Nikon Labophot and used a ...

EPI illuminator
I am thinking about buying an EPI illuminator for my microscope, I would like to hear yours experience about the illumination that you get with this device (because the light goes vertically on the subject). With what frequency do you use your EPI illuminator?
