You know Charlie, I looked at these for quite awhile. The elephant head I noticed right off and I can see the shooting star resemblence, along with an aphid I think, on the stem to the near bottom right. But! "Where's the Monkey?" Beautiful florals Charlie, really like those elephant heads. :D

A wonderful photogrpah of you and the family Carl, excellent. Maybe we should move this to Community though.

OBTW, I hope Sue doesn't see that "Pay Pal" thing you have posted for a new camera. If she does, there will be "Pay Pal" icons all over the place! :? However, and excellent idea! :D

Behind the Pirates Patch

Ever wonder what it looked like behind those black patches that pirates had over one eye? Well I don't know about those but I now know what it looks like behind that of a moth. http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/4_AX0011A_1.jpg Sony DSC-P200 1/10 sec. @ f/2.8 ISO 100 Zeiss Axiostar...

I have lizards somewhat similar around the house here. They are quite cooperative if you don't make any sudden or fast moves around them. Great shot! :D

Great shot Paul. :D I have taken a peek at these little guys through the stereomicroscope many times but have never seen any of them any smaller than what you have here. I have a photograph somewhere of one emerging from the spittle as an adult. From what I have read, the insect produces the spittle...

Nice shot Rik. :D It's a good thing we humans don't do things like that  Often thought about chasing down some of my ancestors but I guess there somethings one really doesn't need to know. Besides the stack of photos on the ring board at the post office is rather large.

Though I am able to shoot RAW images, I usually just shoot jepg. I use and old version of software, Photo Impact 6. Picked it up from a friend at work for 25 bucks. It suits my needs, it's not complicated and very user friendly. For NR, Neat Image Demo works fine the majority of the time. Stacking.....

Interesting composites there Rik. Our big concern out here is the Woolly Adelgid, which is destroying our hemlocks. :( I can't be sure but it seems like I have seen these cats around here too. :)

It is a beautiful image Charlie and quite artistic. :D Seems unusual since I am used to your highly defined amoebas and mosquito larvae images. Very nice work Charlie. :D

Looks like smoke in the background. Maybe the mosquito has a habit. Great details as usual and talk about an eye, it sure is a big one. :D
