Re: Mitutoyo objective clones

I may have misunderstood but I gathered from the post from Chris S that he has been testing an objective (s) from the seller on this link? (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002 ... 3e5fZvjNZy) I know that Chris S urged purchasers to wait for further comments but stock does seem to have dried up ...

Re: Olympus BX 43 U-LHLEDC illuminator

Okay, "equivalent", I thought a 100W LED was outrageous. Which area are you looking to repair? The LED module is very simple, an LED with 2 leads. Optical train is probably more sophisticated but that would not break. If the internal controller for the light is a dud, I would just use an external P...

Re: Olympus BX 43 U-LHLEDC illuminator

Is 14w (100w) version fed directly from the microscope or from the separate power supply ?

Anybody has an electrical diagram (repair manual) of the BX 43 ?

I believe it uses a 30W 5V tungsten bulb.
So P=IV, then I=6A. I will check for you later.

Right, okay you are talking about the LED module? Standard is 5W, the clones have such specifications.
U-LHLEDC100 is 100W.
Thanks,Daniel !
Later googling I found this:

Re: Only a crazy idea

Thanks Soldevilla for post, I had a similar idea some time ago - to use 3D printer's motherboard (not a whole printer) to control X-Y microscope table and focus knob with the G-code commands and (maybe) some changes in the firmware

Re: Canon M6 M2 M42 adapter

The second linked one is for Canon EOS DSLR cameras, it would need an EF to EF-M adapter The first one could be adequate if well described. I suppose that it is not for M42 native lenses that need about 46mm Flange Focus distance Thanks Pau ! I'll be using on the microcope and bellows only (not len...
