Great suggestion I'll keep an eye out for the motorized versions. I do have an AX70 with proper transmitted nosepiece to test with next week just to confirm its not mismatch between prism and objective...

Ok this would be for imaging directly onto a c mount usb camera (no pe eyepiece in camera port), for rough centering and manipulating xyz axis of a pen like object at 10-20x. Possibly up to 50x. Not trying to get great resolution or color etc.
