Adalbert says the Canon 70-200L lens is the best tube lens that he has tested. I am happy to hear that as I already have that from my time as a landscape photographer. I have just ordered the Mitty and the adapter.

That second one is a Myxomycete, and I think it is a developing Didymium squamulosum. It has the characteristic reticulation in the sporocarp, and the ridged stalk.

I think this is a Myxomycete, or slime mold, a young Badhamia utricularis.
