I can't find focus bracketing in the manual either. I fear the camera my be like another I have, which is only a compact but has so may functions and specifications , so easily activated, that when I pick it up it invariably doesn't work. Some setting is set that I never intended, which turns half ...

Novoflex reversing adapter for e mount

I asked novoflex a couple of years ago to consider producing one of these. Obviously I wasn't the only person to ask:

Now we just need a MFT version

It would be interesting to test those PNs on a higher-resolution sensor like the 80 Mp 4/3" (when used in hi-res mode). I find this to be very useful when trying to detect fine differences between optics. In this case the sensor is not High resolution! There is no 80mp mft sensor on the market at t...

I use capture one pro for raw conversion. I like the batch processing that application provides. I don't sharpen in Capture one... I do apply deconvolution( different process to sharpening) before converting Raw to Tiff

its going off topic but its the mount... although I use an emount camera... I already have the LAEA-4 adapter that will mount the 200mm. Yes it is expensive but its a toss up between the original lanthar ( in A mount) and the minolta.

The CA issue was identified with the prototype some months ago. I will wait for a few more reviews but although the lens is still tempting I may well give it a miss and save a few more pennies and get the Minolta APO 200mm macro. The last 200mm Macor OI used was the Canon FD 200mm. The focal length ...

More than likely the lens will provide the necessary data to the camera for some correction in editing

Here is one of the first reviews. https://www.dpreview.com/articles/9305738638/voigtlander-65mm-f2-macro-apo-lanthar-sample-gallery-and-user-impressions I am not sure it will measure up to the legendary 125mm. I gained the impression it is geared to normal photography...and it is tempting. It seems ...

I assume you are referring to your Pen F. Immediately on reading your resonse specifically the quoted part I have questions ( some of them long standing): Austrokiwi, Macrero, if I want to fully utilize my MFT sensor at 50-80Mp, the lens must have an effective aperture wider than f8 First a base ass...

I dimly recall reading somewhere that removing an AF e-mount lens while the camera is turned on could cause damage. I am not sure how that could occur... assuming my memory is correct. Is really worth spending Euro999.00 just to reverse the lens? The new lanthar is manual focus and you could use it ...

yes... but it also suggests to me the technique will not work with FF sensors... and might still show issues with APSc ( Nikkon and Sony perhaps less so with Canon)

The TC was a Minolta MD 2X it was placed between the camera and the bellows. Not sure what you mean with the extension. I set the bellows extension so the PN 105 was at 1X. I tried it with and with out the TC (with the TC I was getting 2X as I should have). If I set the extesion on the bellows so th...

Still thinking hard about this. Lou you are using a MFT camera. With such a small sensor you are "looking" through the best part of the glass both with and without the teleconvertor. My teleconvertor isn't ideal for this so read this with a caution: When I try the technique out with my ff frame came...
