Flying through (Hover fly)

Down at the swamp and catching up on Hover flies with the G2 and added Raynox DCR-250 to the zoom lens. Preset on the flower and one decided to pop on by. The times you wish you had a burst of high speed flash.

Nice shot, the selective focus looks bang on its head. They are always running away from me as well.

Doing up an article of selective focus and DOF and thought I would get the Venus fly trap out as an example with all its spiky bit on the leaves. So started shooting and on another leaf I saw a little fly crawling along the top of it. Oops, wrong camera and dived into the bag, missed it !! Darn. By ...
