Re: Reversing digital lenses

I know canon has an adapter like that.

I sometimes reverse a 24mm reversed on a 100mm. The these electronic pass trough wil not help.

Reversing digital lenses

I just discovered a trick to control the diaframa on a reversed digital lens.

If you use a mount adapter with a lever to control the F-stop you can use this on the bayonet of a reversed lens.

Re: Full Frame or Medium Format?

Guido, thanks for the information about your Pentax pixel-shift speeds. Can I ask what card you are using?
Scandisk ultra SDHC I

Another thing to watch out is to use both your memory cards together. I slows the processing down.

Re: Full Frame or Medium Format?

Pixel shift is a lot faster on my k1. ONm the Pentax k1 it is about 16-17s though it depends on the card speed. That's 4-image pixel shifting, which does not change the pixel dimensions, though it does eliminate the significant loss of resolution due to the Bayer filters. I just tried it: All toghe...

Re: Full Frame or Medium Format?

The people chasing insects in nature mostly perform not very good with full frame. Mostly resulting in very strong crop's. My forum/web results are better with four thirds then with my FF. The DOF of FF is extreem small. If you do early morning stacks the situation changes. Sure if you work in a tec...
