That's very impressive, especially for field work!

What setup were you using for the bracketing sequence?
for this photo :
R5 MKII and mitutoyo 10x

for stacking i am using my diy ultrafast rail :)

Re: Mitutoyo 5,10,20 sharpness – have I reached the sweet spot? – how do I determine that?

You’ve given me something to think about regarding my sensor’s efficiency… I understand that the only way I can lower it is by a slight push-down (e.g., using a DCR-250), which will reduce the aperture from f/12. I’m definitely ruling out vibrations—I also did tests with a flash. But indeed, I’ll tr...

Mitutoyo 5,10,20 sharpness – have I reached the sweet spot? – how do I determine that?

Hello, This year, for the first time, I plan to use Mitutoyo with a tube lens. The equipment I have includes: Camera: R5 MKII Mitutoyo 5x HR, 10x HR, and 20x Initially, I was using the DCR-150, but it seems that the Kenko NR 05 performs better. I set both the Kenko and Raynox to infinity by aiming t...

Sorry to ask,
Could you share which head/revolver you used for Mitutoyo?
I would appreciate your response!

Determining the appropriate distance between the sensor and the Raynox – methods

Hi, Since I've always used Mitutoyo objectives set to infinity (with sigma 180 lens), but after some tests it turns out it's worthwhile to switch to a system of extension tubes and a Raynox, there’s one thing that’s been on my mind: how crucial is setting the infinity point on the Raynox? Currently,...

Re: I modified a lens into a macro stacking rail – it works super fast! = diy project

The lens has an extension of about 11mm, and in the control protocol, I divided this movement into an effective 4000 steps. It works perfectly up to a 50:1 scale – I haven't tried more because I don't have the appropriate optics. rjlittlefield – I created my own library for controlling EF and EF-S l...

Re: I modified a lens into a macro stacking rail – it works super fast! = diy project

To be honest, this is my main reason – imagine that a stack of 400 photos takes me 12-15 seconds :) – all in the field.

I modified a lens into a macro stacking rail – it works super fast! = diy project

A Few Words of Introduction For the past 2–3 years, I have been successfully photographing and stacking using the Olympus OM-1 system, always knowing in the back of my mind that maximum detail and tonal range could only be achieved with a full-frame setup. The only thing holding me back was the ver...

Re: Problem with lack of sharpness, optical correction error Raynox? Mitutoyo 5x, 10x APO HR

I feel like my translation of the problem and solution is pretty bad (my English isn't great :) ). Basically, it looks like this now: Canon R5MKII + 181mm M42 extension tube + Raynox DCR150 mounted "normally," followed by a 50mm M42 extension tube behind the Raynox, and then the Mitutoyo lens. I'm g...
