Meopta service of old lenses no longer does ...
Acetone is only used for current production.

Previously, a 3: 1 mixture of diethyl ether and ethanol was used in Meopta to clean optics. Acetone + ethanol of about 9: 1 is now used.

If the Canon EOS 50D has a continuous shooting rate of 6.3 frames per second, will I actually have 6 frames per second in the appropriate Helicon FB mode with sharpening?

For vertical use yes, for horizontal it would have to be a circular magnet strong enough to hold the upper part.
I chose my solution for more friction and hence stability. :)
