Re: Water Drop - for AIP

Yes and the cleanup and fixing of the valves can be costly! Especially when you have 4-6  Have you tried doing crowns? Basically dropping a single drop onto acrylic glass. Mix is normally 1/2 & 1/2 not straight cream with milk. Straight cream closest then valves in about 20 min and is heck to...

Re: Water Drop - for AIP

I can shed a bit of light on NY. This is Yuefei Zheng. Works the same as the De site. Both are independents. :). Peter Lin is the main vender. Both sites sell to local so that you do not have to pay shipping from China. Yeufei went dark during Covid as he caught Covid-19 and spent 14mo in hospital. ...

Bug of some short at 10x

I am learning the hard way about movement and vibration. What was good at 2.5x and 4x is BAD at 10x. I now have 50LB os sand against my old desk and tightened all the bracing on the desk. I added gussets when I went 4x. Now I build a custom stand like my drop rig that allows me to shoot both vertica...

Re: AA Rechargeable batteries for a few $$$ less

I still have a couple of the older PowerEx 9000 chargers with the "refresh & analyze " circuits that I use on my batteries when they sit for a while. I have 10 sets as I do water drop photography using 6 flashes plus with I do with the Godox on the Extreme. The newer 9930 does not have these modes. ...

Tube length question

I have a question for you more knowledgeable folks as I seem to have a case of the dumb dumbs here. Tube lens for an Infinity lens, I want to go up to 10x from my present fixed 4x. I just purchased a Raynox 150 that I want to use as my tube lens. Reading the material out there I need 208.33 mm as a ...

All seeing Eye

I was looking for things to photograph at 4x as thing changed with the higher magnification with lighting, distance and how much I can actually view. I tried this section off a "bill" to see what I could achieve. DMap ar-009-ar-047-Edit.jpg Captured with Z6 II, ISO 100, (2) Godox TT600 flashes, Godo...
