Re: Safe objective cleaning solution -- so much conflicting info online?
Hi,
Some months ago I was trying to clean an eyepiece's reticle, you know how annoying it is when you look through the eyepiece and see that residues. I did try a lot of options and at the end the best was Texwipe.

If your 40x objective is the finite (not infinity) model then you do not need a tube lens, only the extension tube.

Re: Quick stacking comparison between Nikon EDF, ZS DMap and PMax
Glad you liked it and good to hear that your confocal is getting there too. You will do well with a TE2000, or even a Ti. I have seen them for sale occasionally, ending and pretty good prices compared to the stupid-high Evident counterparts. :D The Nikon C1 works with the Nikon remote focus (for th...

Very nice.
Hope to post soon images taken with my Nikon C1 confocal system (adapted to my Nikon TE300 with spectral detector) that took me almost two years to complete.

Pau,
Very nice set with excellent results!
I see that you are using ET filters (they are very good, hard coating).

Igor,
Excellent images as always.
I would like to know if your confocal images are using the standard detector (3 or 4 channels) or using Spectral detector?

Igor,
Did you used some dye or it was auto fluorescence?
Please details about the lasers wavelength.
