Re: Amber Inclusion Treehopper (Homoptera Membracidae)

Interesting subject. I looked at your YouTube channel. The images you show in the Diptera with Live Water and large Air Bubble video are stellar. The amber is the clearest I've seen. Dominican amber is less known than Baltic one but is by far clearer with a wide variety of very interesting specimen...

stunning shots, can you give me an idea about the size of this inclusion
Thanks for your comments.
In the 2nd photograph there's a millimeter scale, the total length of the inclusion is about +/-7mm (0.2755906 inch)

Re: Amber Inclusions Scorpion & Spider Fighting Forever...LOL

I looked up the Dominican amber deposits. They tend to be around 25 million years old. It was my privilege, many years ago, to sort through a large number of insects in amber that dated back to the Cretaceous (so over 65 million years ago). i pick the specimens directly with miners Wow, what luck you have! That is a great privilege. It must be tremendously exciting to be the first to see them (after the miners). Indeed...specially because most of the time beside main "big" inclusion we can find super interesting tiny ones :smt007

Stitching Software Needed

Hi, i would like to improve my outputs and plan to give a try on the "stitching" route.
Any experienced recommendation regarding the available softwares will be very welcome, this is a new field for me i really have no idea about it.
Thanks in advance.
