Well I'm leaning more to the GH2 and 100-300 mm or MAYBE the coming G3. Don't know anything of it yet though.

Great to see that the "old FZ50" can do a teriffic job, mostly due to the person behind :)

Yes, I'm hoping my becoming GH2 with the 100-300 mm and my Raynox lenses will be a good combination. Time will tell. But the magnification will be good: 300/125*2=4.8 in print magnification with Raynox 250. And no loss of light compared to extension tubes!

Just great to see! =D>
A macro video would have added an extra dimension.

Having about 30 cm of snow these are all gone since long! Eventually they will return next year. Then I will be ready. Probably I will never catch up to your IQ since I'm going m43, but in the vicinity maybe :)

Video files

Is it or will it in the near future be possible to post video files? This would certainly give an extra dimension regarding insect behavior. Just asking since I've finally decided to buy a Panasonic GH2. The 100-300 mm lens would be quite awesome for shooting butterflies and dragonflies. Also in con...

OK, we have to change that number of people then ;) I haven't ruled out either Canon or Nikon yet but I think it would create an extra dimension also to be able to show some macro videos and in that respect I think Panasonic is superior to both Canon and Nikon. Of course I admit that the new 100 mm...

Hmm, don't understand your numbers. A GH2 has a crop factor of 2 so 1:1 would be enough to get 2:1 in 35 mm eq?
