Bursaria truncatella

Hello,

last weekend I had a nice catch: Bursaria truncatella. It is a very large protist. It is difficult to take a picture of the natural form - looks like a bucket with a crack.

Thanks for the many positive comment :D @macrochemistry I took an old microscop with a no name optik outside. I don´t know if the coldness destroy the bonding of the lens. You know it was very cold in germany. Does anyone have experience with coldness and optics? @arturo yes - it was crazy. -15 Grad...

Hi Rogelio,

magic images! Is this correct: the Nikon TE300 is a inverse microskope? I never saw DIC-pictures with a inverse microskope like this.

I work with a Zeiss Axioskop, DIC and eletronic flash.

first, second and third image with a PlanApo 10x / 0,45
fourth image with a PlanApo 40x/1,0 oel

I use a Zeiss Axioskop 40 with spezial nosepiece for DIC (it is a nocepiece from a Axioskop 2). Self-made electronic flash with manual controling. Camera Canon D550.
