6 is best for me. I see distortion starting at 8 degrees.

Stacking/Stitching vs. Pixel shifting
Would stacking a few images shot at the same focus depth work out nearly the same as in-camera pixel shifting for higher resolution?

All DIC systems, including those made by Olympus, are research tools, and as such not at all intended for the amateur market. The compatibilities they describe are for best case use, not what will work at some lower level of performance that might be perfectly suitable for amateur photographic use. ...

Oops!
I didn't look very closely when I opened the envelope, and had forgotten it was one chip to start with. They're not quite as bad as Rik's, but nevertheless in 10 pieces!
The envelope didn't look badly damaged, but it's curved a bit like it went through a roller during sorting.

I'm not sure why your TLU has a small dovetail, unless Olympus made one for the BH-2 series (without the "U" prefix maybe?) I don't know about.
