Beautiful material, something I will never see personally. A quick question; you say the temperature is below 10C. Is that the water or the air temperature? How does the water freeze if it is (say) 5C?

I often get a row of dots on my stack that are not in the original image. It seems to be be one per slice, my guess is that a small contrasting point, perhaps just a single pixel, is eluding the stacking algorithm and getting reproduced in each slice. I find the cross-eyed stereo images hard to cope with. I can see the depth effect but it gives me eye strain and I don't enjoy it. I recall some ancient monochrome stereo pair images - sepia I think where you looked through a fairly simple viewer and there was no eye strain. You would buy boxes of t...
