Image stacking using Photoshop CS4
Has anyone tried this yet?
I just tried a 307 image stack and it packed up - not enough memory!
Admittedly I did load 307 65MB tifs... I may try smaller JPS's and see what happens...
I have 12GB MacPro with dual quad-core processors... hah hah thought it was worth a mention....

Cheers Rik. Usually for online images I don't stress too much about the conversions as long as they retain most of the image quality that I'm happy with it's usually fine for me... Sharpening isn't really one of my strong points. I know it probably should be, but it's always put me off as I find som...

That sounds about right Rik. I've never been a fan of using that 'save for web' thing as the colours shift. It wasn't a huge shift. The smaller image turned out a bit darker than the original and lost some detail, although I did set the jpg compression to high quality. This was a tough image as the ...

heh heh.. I was able to bring out more detail in black and white... When in colour it was a bit overwhelming.. Using the colour sliders in PS I was able to accentuate the detail in the edges of the petal, making for a much more pleasing result... This image will be exhibited at the RMIT University g...
