Hej Håkan,

wow, those are really beautiful! Very serene! I always end up with too many subjects in the viewfinder, which makes my photos too messy, but you really managed to clean the photos nicely!

Best regards,
Björn

Charles, thanks for your input. Photography is an important factor, albeit not the dominant. I’d rather have a bino microscope for a while, than an infinite microscope lens with bellows and a suitable tele lens on a rail. I observe much more often than I take pictures. Interesting point you make wit...

Wow, thanks for all the great replies! I’ve already got the fact that you can’t intermix finite with infinite system parts. I’m just wondering about the possibility to change for example a condenser, stage or a light source between different model series, and perhaps even brands! I expect some machi...

Interchangeability of systems

Hello everyone, first of all - wow! I've been looking through the last four years of the "equipment discussion" part of this forum, and your combined knowledge surely is impressive. But that's what makes forums like this interesting, right? The reason for my "grave plundering" behaviour is that I'm ...

Hello JW, gorgeous centrifuge you've found! It looks like it's made to fit the old-school glass tubes, but with a bit of DIY you could fit an Eppendorf tube into it without loosing the tubes. I absolutely love the Eppendorf tubes. I bought 1000 of those for nearly nothing at a local dealer of lab eq...

Welcome Midline! Living in Stockholm myself, I also do microscopes and machine tooling (as a hobby). Have a Schaublin 120VM and a Schaublin 13 in the basement... and scopes of course. Wow, that's some impressive machining capability, just for a hobbyist! We also have a lathe at the office, mostly f...

Tack, Pär!

Jag känner tyvärr inte honom. Min del av släkten kommer från Lars-Erik, min pappa är hans styvson.

Thank you, Carlos,

I use a Bresser trinocular microscope and their DSLR-adapter for the third opening, and a Canon Eos M3.

Björn

Another swede bites the dust...

Hello all, I just wanted to leave a couple of lines here, for different reasons. I've never actually been an active forum writer (think I can count the times I've written a post on one hand) but this forum really is brilliant. I'm Björn, a 30 years old biotechnician by education, working with machin...
