Re: Nikon E200 focussing failure

All screws were tight - it’s inside the focussing mechanism housing. Can anyone guide me to get inside? Or a source for parts if not the whole mechanism? Thanks.

Nikon E200 focussing failure

Suddenly the focus is rough, ratcheting, and unable to drop its full range. I've taken it down to the slider visible with its tracks on either side, but hesitate to go further until help arrives - thanks. - Robin

Nikon CF Plan 20x0.35 inf/0 EPI SLWD for an E200?

Ebay lists a "Nikon CF Plan 20x0.35 inf/0 EPI SLWD Microscope Objective Lens WD 20.5" infinity\0 with SLWD. Altho only a 0.35, It looks like its length (by eye) plus WD of 20.5 might add up to a parfocal of 60mm, but I would like an opinion of it working on my Nikon E200?

Thanks adalbert. I’m watching eBay, but I am concerned about compatibility. I already bought one wrong onjective; fortunately the seller graciously took it back. Once burned, twice shy. Spec-wise the Nikon Eclipse E200 is a CFi60 (infinity tube, 60mm parfocal, with M25x0.75mm thread. I’d like to fin...

Thanks for the info. Does this objective, and the LU that I referred to above, work on an E200? Is there a less costly alternative?

20x ELWD for Nikon E200 for reflected light?

I’m looking for a CFi60 20x infinity/0 for my Eclipse E200, ELWD for reflected light of 3D objects using stack focus. Would Nikon’s MUE20201 work, at left in image? Any alternative suggestion is welcome. Less expensive would be better, or used in working order. http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/...

Thanks Rik, although your reply doesn't instill the confidence I was seeking! Whom did you buy through? Amazon Prime has many Radical Research models, but not this one. I particularly like the 5x and 10x occulars coupled with 4x, 10x, 20x, & 40x LWD objectives (NCG). Anyone else have experien...

Radical Research RMM-55T-IM metallurgical microscope??

Any opinion of the Radical Research India model RMM-55T-IM metallurgical microscope? The links below are short on specifications, but the 20~400x magnifications would suit me well. Nor have I located a US seller or price. Perhaps not top quality, their other models seem a bit higher $ than Amscope. ...

...with 4x, 10x, & 100x objectives (one empty hole). I know this is an old thread, but so far I am pleased at my entry-level - I would guess "SC" stands for something like Student Compound. Recall the objectives have little info, but I need a 20x for top-lit, 3D subjects (not under glass). Nikon won...
