[Sold] Nikon Eclipse 90i Frame and Prior Stage $4600.00 US
I'm sorry to have to sell my super hi-tech microscope but retirement plans and downsizing requries me to adapt to a more portable microscope system and this 90i is a beast. Re: 3D Printing M25 Threads for Objective Cases
Yes. I printed several translucent discs to check for transparency, but they are quite good diffusers. Overture transparent PETG printed at 2mm thick is a decent starting point for a diffusion element.

Thanks for looking into this. I'm using Cura 5.0 and some of your sugestions do not translate into Cura-speak. But I will try based on your suggestions and update here.

Re: 3D Printing M25 Threads for Objective Cases
Well I finally am getting very good fit with the objective threads. case2.jpg case3_sm.jpg I had to iteratively scale the case top to get an easy fit for the objectives as well as chamfer the start of the threads to allow an easy start to the rotation. I ended up using a 2% scaling factor and the ob...

Re: 3D Printing M25 Threads for Objective Cases
Thanks for the suggestions! I just looked at a few Nikon M25 X 0.75 objectives with my Wild M8 at 40X and it looks like I can pull the data I need using Chris's suggestion of superimposing a micrometer scale at the same magnification. I'll update with some pics once I've photoshopped the compsite im...

3D Printing M25 Threads for Objective Cases
Does anyone have an accurate thread profile for the M25X0.75 thread used for Nikon and Leica Objectives? After reviewing the cost of shipping Aliexpress M25 (Nikon) Objective cases from China, I am experimenting with designing and printing M25 Objective cases using Fusion 360. cases.jpg CLEAR copy.j...

Help Identifying an Old Leitz Stage
I've created a "Frankenscope" out of an old TE300 Condensor and a Leitz stage I picked up on eBay along with a few other parts shown below. I love the stage as it's stepper driven with high resolution and it interfaced well to the Trinamic controllers. But I cannot find out anything about the ancest...

Hi,
I have a work in progress PDF document showing the old and new Nikon DIC systems with some pictures, part numbers and Nikon system diagrams.
If you send me a PM I can send you a copy.

Re: Nikon E200 focussing failure
I took the back off a E200 to see how the stage attaches. Perhaps the screws that hold the focus assembly has loosened from the stage rack and pinion assembly

Re: Darkfield Adapter for Whole Slide Imaging
This reminds me of the MVI Darklite I picked up on eBay a few years ago dark1sc.jpg It uses a halogen light source and a fiber optic tube, but the idea is the same dark2sc.jpg dark3sc.jpg Here's some shots of some old Victorian mount slides using the Darklite: treefixed_sc.jpg geodesc.jpg

Nikon HTM Y-DA DIC Analyzer for Eclipse Microscopes E600 etc
Used Nikon DIC Analyzer for Eclipse Microscope system. Just posted on eBay for $299, will sell to members here for $225.00 plus shipping at cost. Paid almost $350.00 a few years ago...too much most likely. Optics are clear. For Eclipse microscopes such as E600 or any microscope system with a DIC C-N...
