I have one, I can check...I want to say yes, 10x DIC effect is ok w 20x condenser turret prism. Even with an E plan, and plan 10x

I also tried a stack with every frame or 520 images (~5 second vid at 120FPS), which has a bit more color but also more artifacts. Not bad using eyepiece ...

would this not work? if you have a turret condenser, you may need a darkfield stop which can be made with appropriate dimmensions

This is interesting I took an sem image of similar corline algae and I remember seeing these circular areas, i thought they were growth buds..but probably they were these diatoms, I'll have to dig it up...
