Get battery package from William at Wemacro.com, not sure about the case though. This pack will power the Wemacro rail all day long with proper batteries, and also works with Stackshot controller and focus rail (has same connector and voltage). Make sure you get the right batteries, tabbed 18650 ba...

You have a terrific field setup.

Where can I buy that battery case? (I already have a RRS Groundpod).

I have nothing more to add. I was going to see what the Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF with the Kenko 68mm extension tubes (produces 1:2 photos at 48 inches) would produce. And it is perfectly-capable for that. But from reading these posts I have a cheap lens and should buy the more expensive Nikkor 300mm me...

First Full Review More Images The author says "he still needs to familiarize himself" with the lens, but I guess he wanted to be the first. Seems to have excellent, subtle color rendition far better than the Sony (last comparison). Not really a bug lens, but more a flower/fungus lens IMO. Still the...

Thanks for the feedback, Beatsy and Deanimator :) Sometimes a single image is all that's possible on a live subject ... and sometimes it's all that's preferable. It's enough. I'm with you on your preferences, D. Would rather be outside living my own life than sitting down watching others live theirs...

Gosh, it's hard to know whether to leave well enough alone here or to make a final post in defense of this spiral. I originally posted here 1) because of my passion for macro, and 2) because I had a lot of experience with the Sigma macro vs. the 300mm Nikkor (the better one), at macro distances. My ...
