A number of these in Cloudcroft NM a few weeks ago. Shot with Tokina 100mm on D800E, cropped and downsized.

Mite shot hand held with a flash in remote mode (also hand held) seems to be pushing the limit of what I can do walking around in the yard. I've shot dozens of them but have never gotten anything to stay still for even a second shot. Way to go.

In a shaded area but at f22 and with a flash diffuser, the flash doesn't carry very far.

Shot the yucca with a 90mm vivitar F2.5 lens at F22 w/flash in Davis Mountains State Park, Texas.

I've had the camera for a month now and have not had any moire issue yet. Mostly shooting with a 90mm Vivitar F2.5 lens an a short extension ring. Cropability is another bonus..
