Hello daemonoropsis
I'll send you my email by mp. Please contact me on it and we'll try to look at it.
Is "stackshot not connected" the only message you get or do you have another one just before?

Hello The last version of this app is available. http://www.macro-toolbox.com/index.php?page=download Now you can use a virtual rail that allows you to use this program as a Sensor/Bellows/Lens result calculator. I'm adding some stats calulation when you start an adaptive Bellows sequence. These stats compares the use of the dynamic moving calculation against the use of a constant step size. Here are some results with a 36x24 sensor, pupil ratio of 0.6, DOF OVERLAP of 1 and Max COC 2.5 (2.5 pixel size) : Len...

I don't understand what means floppy. It doesn't fit? The M42 adapter would not allow you to reach infinity without machining it. The PK adapter allows it. But you're right that you have to align manually the lens. If the lens is not perfectly in the axis it's not really a problem. For the bellows I...

Hello, This Software is a result of this post of Charlie Krebs, This post made me pondering a lot on the hardware to implement, and I decided to use my Stackshot to do the camera travelling. In addition, during my experiment, I decided that I needed to create a controller to automate the calculation...

A cheap flange to go into the Canon isn't hard by itself, one of the "something" to Canon body adapters would do. Eg you could use one designed for M42, and file the threads out. The lens could be racked in and out with some light sealing material glued to the rim of the flange. There may be some m...

Hi, This thread made me think to non destructives ways to make a stack from macro to infinite. If you have a EOS camera, a nice try is to use your old M42 lenses.... The M42 mount can slide into the EOS mount and reach infinity. You can even secure you mirror by using a Pentax K adapter. The Pentax ...
