Nice shots.

Re: Got the plague
Good news and bad news... Good news I get the Moderna vaccine April 6. Bad news is it appears I have Long Covid 19, which means that the virus damaged parts of me. Fatigue, shortness of breath, diabetic itching. No brain fog. The last time I felt this way was when I got my second dose of Lyme Diseas...

I went online to Home Depot and found SKUNK SCRAM in pellet form, but I haven't seen any renewed damage to our lawn since I raked it. Some varmint repellants are q...

It Must Be SPRING!!!
Our favorite neighborhood skunk has come out of hibernation. This is what his/her activity of one night of grubbing on our front lawn looks like.
Does anybody have any suggestions to rid of this pox upon us, short of a .38 Special?
Thanks Mike

First Wasp of the Year
Found this guy bumping arounds on a window in my living room. Not surprised to find out it is a Polistes dominulus, which appears to be the primary wasp species around here, to the exclusion of other species.

Feathers
A finch got trapped in our garage and from there had the poor taste to get into our office, which, overnight, our cats managed to radish our libary, leaving us in the morning with a finch head in the kitchen, and a trashed libary --feathers all over the house. (May be a Bulwer-Lytton entry next year...
