Early Paleo Indian Fluted Point
I Found this point about 20 years ago, and have been trying to get the best image of it that I could since then. My old 35 mm film camera would have done a lot better but I did not have a macro lens, and was really quite ignorant on how to do it. My first decent shot was with a Kodak DC 290, 3.2 meg...

Cheap Diffuser
Hi all, thought I would post a shot of my diffuser. It doesn't amount to much, a couple of cheap plastic round containers, the bottom of the larger one cut out to let the smaller one slide in tight, just a wedge fit. Hi Betty, I've been using the 055XPROB tripod for 3 or4 years. Had bought a Kirk "Mighty Mini" about a year prior. When I got the 055. I also bought a short column for it. The first thing I did was mark the post where it came through the bottom and cut it off with a hack saw, now it will drop to the...

Crab Spider action
Got these shots a couple of years ago, thought I would share. Found this crab spider nestled down in a bird dropping, apparently waiting on lunch to pass by. http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/1431_JT4_78001_1.jpg Took a few shots when it had enough and slowly went to the back side of the...
