Sorry for delay. I uploaded two frames and you can see some reflections in out of focus area that cause my problem. Now, I'm stacking a new subject. I've covered led lamps with some layers cutted from a shopping bag and it works; I've not intrusive reflections. I will post it as soon as I completed....

Always the automation has produced a result that made a good starting point -- certainly a better starting point than just a collection of individual frames. Dear Rik, I obteined an automated image from all 85 frames. That was my starting point. Then I process a partial number of frames for the eye...

Can you show us an actual-pixels crop of the stack output before retouching and one original frame at the same place, so that we can see what sort of problems you had to fix? Hi Rik, unfortunately I have not the stack before retouching. I spend much hours to stack manually the photos because automa...

Masquerade

Hello, this is my first work with Canon 5D mkII + Nikon Plan 10x/0.25 on Canon 70-200 f/2.8 + 2 led lamps without diffuser. I have stacked 85 photos. I spent many hours to retouch reflections probably due to direct light. I have tried with paper handmade diffuser but the image appeared very soft, wi...

Dear Rik,
I have to build the adaptor ring for Nikon CFI Plan 10x and my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L. What's the ideal distance between lens and objective? If that distance change are there differences? I noticed that at 200mm the picture on display is very dark and I can't focus.

Hi Tomatito,
I've already appreciated this great result on Flickr and it's a pleasure to see it here. Could you post a photo of the objective, please? Standard Zeiss objectives, that are not marked "GF" may cause vignetting on full-frame camera?

Yes, I had already seen Tomatito photos on Flickr. This is why I asked a comparison between Nikon Plan 10x/0.25(∞/-)WD and Zeiss GF Planachromat HD 12,5x/0,25. Now, maybe we could have some more details about these objectives. (sorry for my English, I'm not sure what I wrote)

Dear Craig, thanks for other links. I had no any information about the Zeiss, so I'm looking for a Nikon CFI 10x, incessantly. It is like a new macro wormhole has recently opened up and many of us are being attracted to it. 8) Yes, I agree. I'm in that tunnel too. It's a big news for me and I'm very...
