Nice find!
It looks like some kind of forest or tree frog.
In my country is very common small green European tree frog (Hyla arborea).
See Frog princess... and Cutie on my finger.

On touch, wings are silky and slippery. At the ends of the legs they have hooks with which can hold really firmly to the flower ...

Very nice! :D I can even see the structure of the leaf reflected through the bubble. It is part of the leaf that is not in the focus of the lens, right? Is there a possibility, theoretically, that the bubble reflects the part of leaf (focused), which is itself in the focus of the lens, with stacking...

Thanks folks! :D Harold, the dark blue patch on the rear of the wing has not disappeared in the final image. It is simply his left wing. The dark blue patch on the rear of the wing is actually upper surface of his left wing, which is visible when you look at butterfly's right side, because of the da...

How to move the butterfly from one blooming plant to another
Very simple! First, you must find the butterfly on one flowering plant. Then push gently whole thing close enough to the flower of next plant. 8) All pics are hand-held and uncropped. http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/userpix/120_IMG_3725_W_800_1.jpg Model Canon EOS 7D Date/time original 1...

Thanks folks! :D Not seen pics of one on a butterfly antenna before but have seen them on other small bugs. With the latter there was a suspicion that the wasps were actually hitching a ride on the bug whose eggs they parasitise and were just waiting for the bug to lay it's eggs. Before I posted my ...
