Hello,

some ciliat with funny coloured droplets:

I think it is Nassula ornata. It is feeding cyanobacteria - the coloured droplets are digestion products.

What a great subject and photos!

I've come across Nassula a few times, but have never seen ones with the great colors as you have here.

Fascinating. Here's a shot of the same at 400x, with some explanations, but yours looks clearer at 20x :-)
