Hello All.

I have joined this site as I am interested in macrophotography of lichens and mosses. Lichens and their ecology are one of my main interests.

I do a number of things in my life. I own a tree service and landscaping business, I work as a tour guide in the polar regions (28 times to Antarctica) and I do some writing for a number of small magazines.

While I develop my macro skills (well should I say find my macro skills) I hope to work towards writing and illustrating a number of articles on life in the soil and on tree bark.

Always looking for tips and pointers

Welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of help and inspiration here. Most of my macro subjects don't move much either except for some of the insects.
