You are right, the images are crops (I re-sized the full frame to 50% then I did the crop). Do you think is right to crop to show the details?
BTW, I would love to see a book written by you with all your ideas, experiences, knowledge to obtain the level of excellence and beauty of your images.

It's perfectly OK to crop, and you've made a nice composition here. I only asked because, if it were "uncropped" it would seem to be a larger specimen than I recalled observing. I haven't seen one in a while, but I seem to recall using a 40X to get a decent size in the camera frame.Do you think is right to crop to show the details?
