Moth

Post by thartl »

A buddy of mine accidentally stepped on this guy - so it was inches from death. Don't know what it is and I didn't take a full body shot.

Canon 5dmkII 12mm/20mm/32mm extension tubes, reversed 50mm lens.

ISO 100, 1/200,

I focused using my rails - and not my focus ring -

I need to widen my tripod base- this set up shakes a bit too much and the full resolution photo is not as sharp as this one. (you can tell it shook by the hairs at the top right of the frame....)

Came out well :)
Must say I'm not convinced about using any tripod setup at high mag. More stable just having everything on a table top.
