This is the first time I have come across this species. Took many photos and got a good series of it eating this critter (looked like some type of heliozoan). Here it is just about to swallow. The extrusomes around the mouth are very prominent on this haptorid ciliate.

40/0.95 Olympus S Plan Apo. Canon 350D. DIC illumination with electronic flash.
