Found this one by the side of the house on an old body board - mini surf board. Got a couple shots then off we went.

Excellent photos of a crazy looking hopper. DOF and Sharpness are right on Mark. I have never seen one like this. If you like hoppers, user "Moebius" posted a huge amount of leaf & tree hoppers, along with lots of other creatures from his trip to Peru. Do a search for "Amazon" and look for all his posts and check them out. An incredible photo essay.
