Anyone recognise this hover fly ? Collected on Cape Cod. It's a male and the eyes must be pretty distinctive but I don't have any NA insect books and can't find anything searching the web.

EDIT: ID'd from the helpful folks at diptera.net. It's actually yet another European invader. There must be something screwy about a European going to America to catch a European fly then bringing it back to Europe to photograph it !
