I found this a few years ago on a visit to the seaside. Armed with my Collins Guide to the Seashore and my trusty microscope I managed to ID it. (Frustra foliacea )
Yet to see a living colony though.
Here at 50X:

With the scope set to 125X I then zoomed in the camera full out(4X) which I believe then gives 500X and focused in a single cell.

You can just make out the 'horns' though I'd probably need to use stacking to broing those out!(I dont have stacking software, and i doubt I'd be able to use it as I cant fix the camera to the scope.)

Very nice cyclops...every little cell in the picture had a little animal in it. Amazing what such small animals can build with a few chemicals in the water :wink:

Thanks bettleman. I'd love to see the animal itself but google only shows me their homes!
