I've always wanted to get some macros of mould but well, its not something you want in the house is it. but sometimes accidents happen.

While the psychology is against having a culture in the kitchen the spores are everywhere anyhow.
If you want a colony with well-defined edges try growing it on the surface of water. Rotten fruit or kitchen scraps (not meat or fish) in the water will provide nutrient. Of course, these will readily grow out of doors in all but the coldest weather.

Hmmm. I tell you what I would like to do,get mouldy bread! Its ideal because the subject,unlike my photos here,is flat and easier to light. And bread is very fertile.
