Excellent photo Toni. Lots of nice detail on the pollen grains. looks great against the black background. It almost makes me want to sneeze  My favorite flower to eat when I was a kid. We would pick the flower and suck on the small end to get the nectar

This is an excellent shot! Really good! I just wish those 4 annotation boxes weren't there.

Thanx Cyclops,
you are definitely right...the annotation boxes are snazzy and garish... but sometimes I can't hold down my graphic delirium :D :D :D

When I was a kid we were in post-war austerity and it was many years before I came across hibiscus but we did the same with honeysuckel and privet flowers.

Superb picture!

Toni,

What wonderful image! It's amazing to me that the pollen is actually so large in comparison to the anther. That is one of the amazing things that
photos displayed here do, open up a whole new world of awareness!

Thank you!

Thanx, Tom and Peter.
When I saw this image on my viewfinder, it was very exciting!
And when CZP showed the stacked image, I thinked it was a rare jewel encrusted with gold nuggets.

Ciao
