Caught in a spiders web and frantically trying to free itself, I grabbed a few shots. The spider was quite small for the prey and tried several times to subdue it but the frantic thrashing around of the Yellow Jacket kept it at bay. Laughing

After grabbing the shots, I freed the Yellow Jacket with my finger. It buzzed my forehead and then took off. I don't know if that was a buzz of appreciation or whether it was just taking out its frustration on me. Rolling Eyes You know, that thing has got pretty eyes. Very Happy

How could you Ken?!? poor hungry spider... they use a lot of energy spinning web you know, that's why some of them actually eat their web to "recycle" it.

On the other hand... it does have pretty eyes doesn't it? Very Happy Still if that was me, I would've waited until the spider started feasting THEN I take some photos. Twisted Evil

I think it was trying to say "Took your time human!!" when it buzzed. Razz

I like these two shots due to the angle of the little beastie. Second photo has a lot cleaner background which is great.

Well the spider was quite small compared to the Yellow Jacket, more than likely the spider would have had a hard time trying to find a soft place to bite and would have gotten itself beat up in the process. Laughing

I agree Aynia, the background in the second shot is cleaner and not a busy as the first. I like it too. Very Happy

Thanks Aynia, P_T Very Happy
