If you mean, who can download a copy of the image, well I just saved it to "My Pictures," out of curiosity of course. Think

Thanks Ken. Very Happy
Don't be fooled by her size, she is fully capable for catching flies.

It's OK Ken. It was intended to be a joke, you know... (double digitally signed... digit = finger... two fingers of mine).

Heh, that mantis looks so comfy on your fingers, looks almost like he's half asleep.

Ken's right though, that mantis is vicious!! I saw one eating a redback spider, just stuffed the spider in its mouth bit by bit.

We're all too short here. You're pitching them and they are going right over our heads. Laughing

A mantis once took up temporary residency in my garage. I pointed a fluorescent magnifier ring light at him and fed him insects and took vhs video of it. And, of course I'll be ##### if I can find that tape. Sad
But it was alot of fun. If the bug was moving at all it just snapped it into those crushers and started eating and made short work of the victim. I tried feeding it hamburger but it was not interested. Even when I tried to wiggle it. Rolling Eyes

It all rolls downhill Ken and that mantis was at the top of the hill, so I was not going to take it out on him..

Whadidydotooya,Sue?? Did he need glasses and think he could devour you?

And I would be happy to host a Barbeque for members of this list. If any of you find yourself in St. Louis do give me a shout.

This mantis with an attitude, is what it was Laughing I photographed his whole journey toward me. When all I seen was his head in my lens..I knew I was in for it. That thing beat me up all over my head Laughing

Nikola has more nerves than I do. I will never attempt to hold one now. The one in this image looks so sweet and innocent..but I know better.

That's how it goes with mantises.
You offer them a finger and they grab the whole hand! Laughing

You really have a neat photo!

I kept a Mantis as a "pet" for a while. A wasp I dropped into the terrerium was made short work of. Once I tossed it a fairly large earthworm.

The Mantis finally got the best of the worm, but for a while the battle was reminiscant of the statue of Laocoon! (Google the name if you aren't familiar with the myth.)

I hand fed the Mantis water from a thin straw. It was always accepted peaceably.
