Yep, I just didn't resist. I was like a child in front of cake shop. Laughing
Now I'll must delay planned new faster and stronger PC for about half year. I'll need it to process increasing amount of image data.
Well, there is a bunch of small improvements, nothing dramatic but it can please you. It would not be mistake to skip one generation and wait to next year camera. (But I didn't! Embarassed )
My first impressions?
Better handling - better comfortable hand grip.
Bigger and brighter viewfinder as well as LCD screen with more information.
I have a feeling that focusing is more accurate and faster. (Even in low light.)
A slightly better control of noise I think and a little more details (I can see now some fine hairs on miniature 2mm spider abdomen which I didn't before) if I'm not wrong.
It looks that JPEG-s are much heavier than 20% (from 10 to 12 mp).
A little more room for cropping, also.
And old memory cards and batteries doesn't fit which is not nice of them! Shocked
Meanwhile I got damage on my PC (Mainboard failure) and I'm working now on my laptop which is less comfortable. Rolling Eyes

This thing has my table manners in the first image. Just don't get too close to me though or I growl. Never bitten anyone but I have snapped at a few. To tell the truth, I like the 400D better I think but this is just my first impression after having seen the results of the XSi Think

Very nice and kinda cute to see them at this stage. One of my favourite subjects BTW, great behaviour shots and a good ratio.

Thats also a nice mini review of the 450D from a darn good macro user. Thats a bonus and great to see. Wink I read about the new view finder, but its good to see you mention it as well. Thanks for that.

All the best and nice work and shots. Very Happy

Danny.
