I've tried many times in vain to photograph these things. Great job you have done here Péter, nice details in this one and a very nice background too. :D

A beautiful picture Péter. With a long snout like that (They are called snout beetles :wink: ), The DOF on this is perfect.

That's really nice!

I know Weevils vary quite a lot in size, from a few mm to best part of an inch. I reckon from the 'hairs' on that leaf that is a fairly small Weevil, which makes this shot an impressive achievement!

What lens was this, and did you use a tube as well?

The overall length is about 6-7 mm. I used my standard 100mm macro lens + 55mm reversed (stacked) lens combo. No extra extension.
