These are very nice, Graham.
I like images 1 & 3 just the way they are.
The background of image 2 has a pattern of straight lines with a harsh bokeh that I find distracting. I played a little with blur-and-mask in Photoshop, and found that I liked it better with the background filtered Gaussian Blur, 7 pixels. Just a thought, your tastes may differ!
