How do they know that spring is near? Well Ben here, seems to rely on undergarments found discarded here in the woods, as the weather warms here in Western North Carolina.

Realizing that they are really much to large for Ben to make use of, he decides to turn away and make his way back home. Maybe stopping to pick up something at the "Bug Deli" on the way.
Ben...

Great find, well spotted and hilarious comment, Ken!
Is there another joke in that you named him 'Ben' that I don´t get?
Thanks for starting my day with a laughter.

Thanks Betty, I am glad that you liked it. Oftentimes I get to wandering around out there in or along the edges of the "Twilight Zone." As for "Ben," well it was just a name that came to mind, no special reason for it. Actually the undergarment is the veil of the Daffodil flower bud, I think. Anyway it looked like or reminded me of, some sort of undergarment.
Thanks again...
