Jim,

These are really sharp and well-composed. Too bad about the white flower. It looks like the wasp was looking at you in the third image.

Note to self: Don't plant any more white flowers in the garden.

Nice find, interesting to see.

Looks like a scoliid wasp, if I´m not mistaken.

Note to self: Wish to have a garden a bit closer to the equator myself one day to have such visitors around

Is Croatia south enough?
The meaning of beauty is in sharing with others.

P.S.
Noticing of my "a" and "the" and other grammar

Nikola asked:

Nikola, currently on my list ('possible places where to go for working abroad or after retirement' ) are all regions where the olive tree can be cultivated, or the tropics. Hence the Med is definitely on the list, and I´m aware of Croatia´s exceptional landscape beauty. But when it comes to the language, I reckon I´d be better off in Australia, New Zealand, California or South Africa. And even Portuguese, Spanish or Italian are easier for me to understand and learn than a Slavic language, I think.

Cheers,
Betty :D

Jimmy Buffett..my hero (well out side of john wayne that is  ). Forget the flower, the wasp is beautiful and the focus of the image.

I hope to see a few when I am down in Tampa, FL at the end of the month. Right now in PA, we have nothing. Well my tulips are breaking ground :D .

Sue,, enjoy yourself when you come to Florida, the weather is fine now, not to hot , not to cold, a very nice time of year, and things are coming alive, to bring your camera

Yeah the flower is a little hot, but the wasp with its details is bang on. Nice ratio there Jim and good views.

All the best Jim, nicely worked.

Danny.
Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.
